July 18th: Foam puppet creation.

It vomits, cries, pees, and poops...and is not a baby

Eat Art Marathon

Inspiration

Caitlin Ross and I were inspired by a show from duo of young Puerto Rican puppeteers using foam to make huge puppets that can be compressed, twisted, bent, or soaked with liquids. The structure patterns are also borrowed from Bread & Puppets groups booklet «68 ways to make very big puppets».

Description

We organised a day of creation with recycled material, food, aloes plants donation, and music to create big puppets as a group of volunteers. People came, talked and built their characters. They will be used to perform next Thursday in Lafontaine Park during the afternoon.
